Pet Policy

Twin Canyons Ranch Resort is a working ranch which includes livestock and wildlife. Bringing your dog(s) to the ranch may put your dog(s) in danger as they may be seen as prey or cause unpredictable reactions from the livestock. You and those in your party take full responsibility for the actions of your dog(s) and the consequences of these actions which may include additional fees for damages or personal injury caused by your dog(s). You will also be responsible for additional fees for excessive cleaning or treatment needs due to fleas or “accidents.”

Dogs are permitted in the Villas and Barn Suite only with arrangements made prior to the first day of your reservation. Failure to obtain prior approval and register your dog(s) will result in a non-refundable $250 damage fee in addition to the daily fee for each dog. 

Maximum number of dogs: 2 dogs per reservation

Fee: $50 plus tax, per reservation for each dog

In consideration for Twin Canyons Ranch Resort and Martha’s Ranch Foundation permitting me to keep my pet in the Villa or Barn Suite and on the premises of Twin Canyons Ranch Resort, I agree to the following:

  1. My dog(s) are housebroken and well-behaved.
  2. There are no more than 2 dogs permitted per reservation in the Villa or Barn Suite.
  3. I agree to pay $50 plus tax, per reservation for each pre-registered dog. Failure to obtain prior approval and register your dog(s) will result in a non-refundable $250 damage fee in addition to the daily fee for each dog using the credit card on file for these additional fees. 
  4. All dogs are up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations and be free of communicable illnesses or diseases.
  5. All dogs are to be treated with a topical flea and tick preventative 3 days prior to arrival. 
  6. I will keep my dog(s) under control at all times.
  7. I must keep my pet restrained on a leash or in a pet carrier when my pet is outside the Residential Rental.
  8. I must promptly and properly remove and dispose of any litter or waste associated with my pet on the ranch premises.
  9. I understand that dogs are not permitted in food and beverage areas, the pool or activity locations at the ranch.
  10. Dog towels are provided to clean dogs prior to entering the Villa or Barn Suite and must be washed, dried and returned to the proper spot prior to departure. Guest linens and towels should never be used on your dog.
  11. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds.
  12. No personal pet beds or other such items should be placed in the washer or dryer.
  13. I understand that when my dog is in the Villa or Barn Suite, I will be present or the dog is secured in a pet crate with proper care, food, and water.
  14. I am responsible for the noise or aggressiveness of my dog and will remedy any complaints immediately.
  15. If Twin Canyons Ranch Resort or Martha’s Ranch Foundation determines, in its sole discretion, that my pet is objectionable to other ranch guests, I must immediately make other arrangements to house the dog off premises. No refunds will be issued if there is early departure of the dog(s).
  16. Twin Canyons Ranch Resort or Martha’s Ranch Foundation are not responsible or liable for guests’ dog(s). Guests agree to pay agents promptly for any damage, loss, or expense incurred by their dog(s).
  17. I agree to indemnify, hold harmless, defend Twin Canyons Ranch Resort, Martha’s Ranch Foundation, employees, and ranch guests from and against any and all alleged or actual losses, claims, damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, and reasonable attorney’s fees, if any, which those mentioned above may suffer or incur in connection with the act or acts of my dog’s time on the premises.
